Happy Holidays!!!

Well, time sure has flown....Christmas has come and gone. We celebrated Christmas in Michigan and then a few times down in Illinois. We visited Santa in the mall and Hallie wasn't too sure about it...she was more excited to ride on the carousel afterwards. Oh well...We did some travelling and it was nice to see family. Hallie really enjoyed opening presents this year. She also made cookies a few times and had a ball with that. She loved spending time with her cousins Tess and Micaela. Both Hallie and Paige slept through Christmas eve mass, which was great. Sadly, I have to head back to work next week, so we'll see how that goes. It will certainly be a change of pace from the past 10 weeks. Paige is a happy little baby and is growing up so fast. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Happy Turkey Day!

Well, Turkey Day has come and gone and Paige is now 6 weeks old...not sure where the time goes! We made the trip down to Chicagoland, Morton, and Quincy and it was great to see some of the extended family, many of whom we hadn't seen in quite awhile. All is well in Michigan, enjoying my last few weeks at home, before I return to work after the New Year. Here are some pics. Hallie enjoyed making rolls with Grandma for Thanksgiving. It was quite a hoot. Take care!

Busy few weeks...

Okay, it's been a few busy weeks here for us...all is well. As you know, Paige Catherine came into the world on Friday, October 12th at 10:40 p.m. I started having stronger contractions about 4:30 that afternoon and I had a feeling she would be on her way soon. We got to the hospital about 9:15 p.m. and I was already 6 cm dialated, so things were going. Thought we'd get set up in the room and take that epidural when I needed it. Well, before not too much later...what do you know, I was 10 cm and she was ready to come out. So needless to say, no time for the drugs...time for the doctor to show up...some pushing (and screaming and pinching) and out she came. There was pain, don't get me wrong, but it was over pretty quickly. She's adorable. Hallie loves her to pieces and keeps a good eye on her. It's pretty cute. I've attached a lot of pics from the past few weeks. It's been nice to have family up to visit and lend a helping hand.

Hope all is well with everyone. Ideally, I'll get this updated within a few more weeks. Take care!

These were taken about a month ago, but wanted to get them out there. Better late than never. Enjoy!
