April Showers

Hello! Where has April gone? Things have been busy here. Dan's brother graduated from GVSU last weekend, so his family was in town. Hard to believe the academic year has ended. Summer classes start Monday. We've had some nice days and have had our fill of April Showers lately! I'm ready for it to dry out. Please enjoy the video of our own little Hannah Montana. The girls watch it and shake their arms and "rock it out" ~ for those of you who know what I mean.

Easter 2009

Hello! We had a great sunny Easter weekend. Friday night we colored eggs. Saturday we did some egg hunts in the backyard. The girls loved it. Once they found them all, Hallie would hide them for another round. Paige did great finding them until she realized there was something inside....then it became more fun to find an egg, eat what was inside, then find another. The girls slept in this morning til about 10:15. Paige woke up first and then I asked her where her sister was. She decided to give Hallie a little wake up call so we could start the festivities. The Easter bunny hid eggs and their baskets inside and then more outside that we looked for after breakfast. Hallie stirred up some waffles for us, which were good. The girls played much of the day and we had ham for dinner, Hallie described the meal as a scrumptious feast. I have to agree. Hope everyone had a good day! Enjoy the pictures.

April

Hello! Where has the time gone? We've had some nice weather, along with some snow in between. As is common up here, typical Michigan weather! Yesterday we ventured out to the zoo and park, it was fun and the girls really liked it. They'd been before with Dan and it was my first time. The animals were not all out yet, but not much longer. We got the girls both twin beds, so that's a new addition. We also got a new furniture addition, a grandfather clock we had built. It turned out really nice and matches some other pieces we have. Hard to believe it's almost Easter!
