Where does the time go?

Hello! We're ready for the warmer weather here in Michigan. It's been below average lately. We have been able to enjoy some time outside. Last week Barack Obama was in town for a rally, so that was pretty exciting. It was cool to find out that John Edwards was coming to give his support before the rally even happened. I can wait for the Obama/Clinton competition to end. I've been rooting for Obama from the beginning.
Paige has been doing a good job sitting up and her latest is blowing bubbles with her slobber. I promise you'll enjoy watching this clip of her. It's hilarious. She also puts her arms up in the air...how big is Paige?...so big!
Looking forward to the upcoming weekend - we're heading back to Morton Friday, going to a wedding down in Quincy on Saturday, having a reunion with high school friends on Sunday in Bloomington, relaxing Monday and then heading back on Tuesday. Lots of time in the car, but should be fun!

Happy May Day! Things here have been good. Dan's family was up 2 weekends ago and Sean, Beck and Tess came for a visit last weekend. Hallie loves spending time with her cousins. We went to the Frederik Meijer Gardens (one of Hallie's favorites) and it was nice and warm. The butterfly exhibit was in it's last week, so we got to enjoy that one more time. Tess and Hallie also had fun in the Children's garden and were pretty worn out come bedtime. On Saturday we went to the Children's Museum and had another good time. There was a Bob the Builder exhibit, which was cool. I included some pics of our new appliances. The kitchen remodel is coming along. I have a new sink and faucet (didn't even think to take a picture of that, but what I was most excited about...you don't realize how important it is until you don't have it!). You can sort of set the new laminate and there's a sample of the brick by the stove which will be the new backsplash. We're painting the kitchen as well and getting some trim around the counter and cabinets....that oughta do it, I hope. The other picture was from Hallie last night...she's coloring with markers and next thing I know, her pants are off and she's got marker colored all over her legs...thank goodness for washable markers!
