Disney Magic !

Hello! We've returned from Florida and had a great time. My conference was good and it was nice to relax and enjoy some time at Disney. We went to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom and Downtown Disney. The girls enjoyed the parades and fireworks (when they weren't too close and loud), animals, riding the shuttle bus, etc. There are some really cool shows down there - Finding Nemo Musical and a Lion King Show. It really is a magical place - minus all the crowds, crabby kids, long lines, hot 90 degree days and rain. It was nice to get away. Even relaxing at the hotel and swimming was fun. The girls did well on the flights as well. Since last year was my first experience at Disney, just for 1/2 a day, it was good to spend a little more time exploring. Plus there was a lot we didn't see. They do have ride swaps if you have little ones and a Fast Pass, which eliminates waiting in line. I think we'll eventually go back in a couple years.

June Fun

We've had a busy few weeks. Dan's family visited one weekend and we enjoyed the Festival of the Arts downtown downtown again this summer. The one pic shows Hallie and the sculpture she made, she calls it her art project. We leave for Florida on Friday and I'm looking forward to getting away. I have a conference for work down in Orlando, but will have some down time and a day before and after to enjoy Disney. The weather has been nice, we're back to much cooler, enjoyable temps this week. The iris's have come and gone and the lilies are in full bloom this week. Father's Day was nice and relaxing. Paige has been up on her knees rocking, but still only scoots backward. Won't be long. She did cut her first tooth yesterday...thus far just running a little fever, but not crabby.
